Journey to success
“After school I went to Northwest University where I studied International Trade and Economics. Immediately after that I started working for an export company in Sandton where I soon became an expert in my field. 7 years later I resigned and started my own export business in order to achieve financial freedom, but things did not work out as I planned due to my biggest clients closing their doors. Business was slow and I sent out my CV again just to check if I can find something part time while I am trying to save my export business.
I received a call from the company where they invited me for a first interview. I was very excited but also nervous as I did not know what to expect. I was blown away by the director’s first interview. I remember telling myself “I want to be like him someday”
I bought into the company and the people immediately. He invited me back for a second and final interview. After both interviews, I qualified for the position. I started on the 15/03/2016.
This was completely out of my comfort zone, but I had the opportunity to change people’s lives and be promoted to a branch manager. I received guidance and support from a manager as promised, that helped me to get on my feet at this new company with all the different challenges. Having my own business made me used to an above average income and I was scared to lose that lifestyle.
I worked hard and set goals all the time which will guarantee the income I desired. I soon realized that I am at the right place to still achieve financial freedom.
I was promoted to franchise owner on the 12/07/2017. I now had my own franchise at the age of 28. I managed to buy myself a R2.5 million house and I bought my dream car.
I am a completely different person than the guy that started at this company 6 years ago. I can provide my family with a lifestyle of our choice and I enjoy going to a positive successful office every day. This international company gives you a VIP treatment at all their functions and prize giving.

What I love is that I get training, because where I came from there was none. I was placed in a branch and left to drift. I had to learn for myself what to do and train myself, the other managers don't always want to help you since they are your competitors. This is definitely something different at this company.
